
Rampage sign Woollard to PTO

SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Rampage announced today that they have signed forward Chad Woollard, from the Quad City Mallards of the United Hockey League, to a Professional Try-Out Offer (PTO).
The 28-year-old leaves the Mallards ranking second on the team and eighth in the league in scoring with 53 points. He has tallied 23 goals and 30 assists including 11 power-play goals and leads the team with 219 shots on goal.
Woollard, who represented the Mallards in the 2006 and 2007 UHL All-Star Classic, is in his eighth professional year. He has tallied one goal in six career AHL games split between the former Utah Grizzlies and St. John's Maple Leafs.
The Durham, Ontario native has spent the majority of his professional career with the Fort Worth Brahmas of the Central Hockey League where he holds franchise records for games played (290), goals (132), points (264), shots (1,029), game-winning goals (15) and shorthanded goals (5). The three-time CHL All-Star was the league's leading vote getter for the 2004-05 All-Star game.
