Pion Added to U.S. Cellular 25 Greatest Rivermen Visits

Peoria, IL (February 13, 2007) - Peoria Rivermen President/CEO Bart Rogers announced today that Rick Pion has been added to the list of former Rivermen, including Bob Fleming, Dominic Lavoie, Tony Curtale, Trevor Baker, Dave Thomlinson and Jim Vesey, that are scheduled to appear at home games over the duration of the rest of the 2006-07 season, as part of U.S. Cellular's 25 Greatest Rivermen of All-Time.

Pion, 41, is third all-time on Peoria's games played list with 416 regular-season and playoff contests to his credit. The 5-foot-9, 171-pound center compiled 241 points (79g, 162a) in 376 regular-season games along with 559 penalty minutes (PIM).

All of the appearing U.S. Cellular 25 Greatest Rivermen will be honored during a pre-game ceremony and will be available for autographs and pictures throughout the game.

On Wednesday, February 14, the Rivermen host the San Antonio Rampage for the second straight game and third time in the last four at 7:00 p.m. at Carver Arena. It is Nesquik Wacky Wednesday.
