Left Wing King Recalled by Blues

Peoria, IL (February 13, 2007) - St. Louis Blues President John Davidson announced today that left wing D.J. King has been recalled from the Peoria Rivermen, the Blues' American Hockey League affiliate.

King, 22, has played in nine games for the Blues this season, registering 16 penalty minutes. He has skated in 35 games with Peoria, recording seven points (three goals, four assists) along with a team-high 102 penalty minutes.

The Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan native was originally drafted by the Blues as their sixth round selection, 190th in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.

On Wednesday, February 14, the Rivermen host the San Antonio Rampage for the second straight game and third time in the last four at 7:00 p.m. at Carver Arena. It is Nesquik Wacky Wednesday.
