Sound Tigers Game Tomorrow Night Postponed

Bridgeport, Conn. - The Sound Tigers' game Friday, February 20 at 7 p.m. against the Albany River Rats has been canceled due to the team's bus accident Wednesday night. The game has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 31 at 7 p.m. at the Times Union Center.

Returning home from their game on Wednesday night in Lowell, Mass against the Devils, Albany's bus slid off the side of the Massachusetts Turnpike causing it to tip over on its side. Teammates Nicolas Blanchard, Joe Jensen, Casey Borer, Jonathan Paiement, and radio color commentator John Hennessy remained behind at the Berkshire Medical Center for treatment, River Rats' head coach Jeff Daniels told the local newspaper.

"Our thoughts are with all of the players and staff that were involved in the accident and wish them a speedy recovery," Sound Tigers' president Howard Saffan said. "oHowardsaefafasdfasdfÙaWe are happy that everyone survived the accident and will have the opportunity to continue their careers."
