Saturday Night's Wolf Pack Game to be Broadcast Live on WTIC NewsTalk 1080

HARTFORD, February 19, 2009: The Hartford Wolf Pack's home game this Saturday night, February 21 vs. Portland will be aired live on CBS Radio's 50,000-watt AM powerhouse, WTIC NewsTalk 1080.

The game faces off at 7:00 PM, and the pregame show hits the air at 6:30 on WTIC NewsTalk 1080. The broadcast team features Bob Crawford, "Voice of the Wolf Pack", on play-by-play, Mark Bailey handling the color commentary and veteran WTIC NewsTalk 1080 sportscaster Scott Gray reporting from ice-side.

Saturday night's game is one of several Wolf Pack contests throughout the season that are being carried on WTIC NewsTalk 1080, and each and every 2008-09 Wolf Pack game can be heard live in HD Radio on WTIC's 96.5 HD 2, and on-line at www.hartfordwolfpack.com and www.wtic.com.

The Wolf Pack's next action is a road game in Lowell tomorrow night, Friday, February 20 (7:00 faceoff, 96.5 HD2, www.hartfordwolfpack.com, www.wtic.com, www.ahllive.com). At Saturday night's game vs. Portland, fans are encouraged to wear red to the game to show their support for the American Heart Association's GO RED for Women campaign.
