RE-SCALING OF THE LOWER BOWL
The re-scaling of the Civic Center lower bowl (see image below) has led to an increase in the total number of Quarter Deck seats (the least expensive seating section), while maintaining the affordable level of pricing in the Main Deck and the elimination of the most expensive tickets (formerly Captain's Deck). For example, a person sitting in the Captain's Deck in 2008-09 would pay $20, but in 2009-10 the same seat will be just $15, saving fans 25%.
By re-scaling the bowl, the most popular seats at center ice have been reduced by $25%. Additionally, the action-packed lower seating areas behind the goals and in the corners (formerly Main Deck seats), have also been reduced by 23% from $13 to $10. The expanded Quarter Deck seating area allows fans access to premium seats at lower prices.
