Sound Tigers Announce Port Jefferson Ferry Specials

BRIDGEPORT, CT – The American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, and the Bridgeport & Port Jefferson Ferry have announced several specials for the upcoming season.

Fans from Long Island who will be attending a Sound Tigers game in Bridgeport will receive a special round-trip fare of $14.50 per person when they walk-on the ferry in Port Jefferson, New York. In addition, fans from Long Island can purchase a special package, including a game ticket and walk-on round-trip fare, for $25 per person for all Sunday Sound Tigers home games.

On all Fridays and Saturdays that the Sound Tigers play a home game, the last ferry will wait until 10 p.m. or a half hour after the end of the Sound Tigers game, whichever is later, to depart Bridgeport for Port Jefferson, so fans can watch the entire game and still make the trip back to Long Island.

The Sound Tigers will play the last of their four preseason games when they host the Hartford Wolf Pack at the Rinks at Shelton this Saturday at 7 p.m. They will open the 2004-05 regular season on Saturday, October 16th when they host the Albany River Rats at 7:05 p.m. at Bridgeport's Arena at Harbor Yard.
