October 7, 2004 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Springfield Falcons News Release
Springfield, Mass. â Springfield Falcons' ticket plan holders will be able to pick-up their season ticket packages and flex packs at the team's preseason games at the Olympia Ice Center this weekend. The Falcons will face the Hartford Wolf Pack on Friday in a 7:35 contest. The Providence Bruins will visit the Olympia on Saturday for a game that will begin at 7:05 p.m. The Olympia is located at 125 Capital Drive in West Springfield. Ticket plans that are not picked up this weekend will be shipped next week.
With tremendous progress being made with Springfield Civic Center renovations, brand new seats have been installed in the arena from which Falcons fans will be able to enjoy the games this season. The new seats, installed a year ahead of schedule, are labeled to reflect the renovated-version of the Civic Center. Therefore, season ticket holders will notice that their tickets show different section, row, and seat numbers than what they selected when they ordered. However, their seat is in the same location that they selected upon ordering. Other Civic Center improvements that fans will notice this season include a new sound system, renovated concession stands and a remodeled press box. All Falcons' regular season home games will be played at the Civic Center this season.
Individual game tickets as well as season ticket packages for the Falcons' 2004-05 season are currently on sale. For individual game tickets, please visit the Springfield Civic Center box office or call (413) 787-6600 or (800) 639-8602 to order by phone. To purchase season ticket packages or for more information, please contact the Falcons team office at (413) 739-3344.
