Bears farm out two Avalanche prospects to Colorado

HERSHEY – The HERSHEY BEARS announced today the club has reassigned goaltender Tyler Weiman and left wing Dave Svagrovsky to the Colorado Eagles (CHL). The announcement was made by BEARS President/GM Doug Yingst and the HERSHEY coaching staff.

Weiman, a rookie and Colorado Avalanche draft pick in 2002, played in one exhibition game for HERSHEY during 2004 training camp. He played during the second half of HERSHEY'S game at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton last Saturday night, allowing two goals. Svagrovsky, an Avalanche draft pick in 2003, played in two exhibition games for the BEARS and recorded one assist. With the assignments of Weiman and Svagrovsky, HERSHEY'S roster stands at 23 players as the team prepares to travel to Reading, PA to face the Norfolk Admirals on Saturday.

The BEARS open the 2004-05 season on Friday, October 15 at Norfolk before opening the home schedule the following night on Saturday, October 16.
