
P-Bruins set for weekend games

Providence Bruins News Release
The Providence Bruins will continue their 2004 pre-season slate of games on Friday, October 8, when they visit the Portland Pirates at the Cumberland County Civic Center in Maine. The action gets underway at 7:00 p.m.
The Black and Gold concludes their pre-season schedule with a home-and-home series against the Springfield Falcons beginning on Saturday, October 9 at 7:00 p.m. at the Olympia Ice Rink in West Springfield, Massachusetts. The teams wrap up the pre-season on Sunday, October 10 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bridgewater (Massachusetts) Ice Arena. For ticket information for the game at Bridgewater, please call (508) 279-0600.
The Bruins announced today that they have released four players from training camp. Goaltender Nick Boucher, defenseman Andy Reierson and forwards Mike Souza and Cole Byers have been released, bringing the total number of players on the roster to 28.
