
B-Sens Roster Down to 26 Players

BINGHAMTON, NY - The Binghamton Senators roster has been reduced to 26 players as centers Derek Campbell and Gregg Johnson were released today.
Johnson participated in 5 regular season games with the B-Sens last season and recorded one goal and 4 penalty minutes. The former eighth round draft pick also saw action in one playoff game against the Norfolk Admirals. Campbell joined the B-Sens late in the 2003-04 season and played 2 regular season games with the club. He recorded 4 penalty minutes and did not score.
Right wing Jason Sessa and defenseman Brian Escobedo were released following Sunday's 4 -1 loss at Hershey. Right wing Rob Fried was released after Wednesday's 5 â 3 win at Syracuse.
The B-Sens return to action on Friday evening at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena when they take on the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. Tickets still remain on sale for the 7:05 p.m. I-81 Puck Cup game. Syracuse still holds the lead in the round robin tournament with 3 points. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Binghamton are close behind with 2 points a piece.
