Cleveland Monsters News Release
Whether you're the bride or the groom or the rest of the family, we've got something for you this weekend at Quicken Loans Arena! Brides will not want to miss when the Lake Erie Monsters host a Bridal Expo, presented by Catan Fashions, this Friday, February 27th. As part of the festivities, one special couple will even tie the knot on the ice during the game. Grooms should get excited for the following night, Saturday, February 28th, when return specialist Josh Cribbs of the Cleveland Browns will hold a pregame autograph session.
The Monsters will host the Bridal Expo from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, which will feature dozens of local vendors, including photographers, hotels, salons, bakeries and more. Beginning at 6:30 p.m., Catan Fashions will put on a special bridal fashion show. There will be prizes given away throughout the event, including trips to the Caribbean and Mexico, courtesy of Encompass the World Travel. One special couple, whose first date was at a Monsters game last year, will even be married on the ice during the first intermission of the game!
Friday will be fun for the whole family. The first 5,000 fans to the game against the Toronto Marlies (7:30 p.m. start time) will receive a free Sully Bobblehead, courtesy of Nesquik. Friday is also another Dollar Dog Friday, presented by Sugardale, Pepsi, FOX Sports Ohio and Radio 92.3. All hot dogs and 16-ounce sodas are only one dollar each. Plus, fans are invited to stick around after the game for the free Tri-C Family Postgame Open Skate.
On Saturday, football fans are in for a treat when Josh Cribbs makes a special appearance at The Q. The NFL Pro Bowl honoree will be holding an autograph session from 6:30 - 7:15 p.m. before the Monsters host the Grand Rapids Griffins at 7:30 p.m. One lucky fan will even win an exclusive Josh Cribbs autographed item during the game.
Tickets for the game begin at just $10 and are available at LakeErieMonsters.com or by calling (216) 420-0000. Individual tickets for other upcoming Monsters games, starting at just $10 per seat per game, as well as prorated season ticket plans and group tickets, are also on sale now.
The Lake Erie Monsters are part of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Quicken Loans Arena organization and also owned by a group led by Cavaliers Majority Owner and Quicken Loans Founder and Chairman Dan Gilbert.
