Rockford IceHogs News Release
Rockford, Ill.- Rockford IceHogs Team President Mark Bernard announced on Wednesday the American Hockey League team's 2009-10 season ticket prices. Ticket prices for the IceHogs 11th season in Rockford and third in the AHL as the top affiliates of the Chicago Blackhawks will remain unchanged.
Full Season Ticket and Arena Club prices for the 2009-10 campaign are based off of 42 games, including all 40 regular season games and the first two Calder Cup Postseason contests at the MetroCentre. The IceHogs will also continue to offer a 20-game weekend only package and smaller ticket packages starting at five games.
To help with the tough economic times, the IceHogs are offering a new payment plan for all new and renewing season ticket holders. Payment plans can range from three to seven months depending on when a deposit is placed on a ticket package.
Deposits are now being accepted for new season tickets for '09-10. A $100 deposit is required per seat for all new season ticket packages. Early Bird Discounts for all renewing Season Ticket Holders is available and fans renewing can save up to an extra 10% on their ticket package if paid in full by May 30th.
The IceHogs are also offering a special "Spring Cleaning Seat Sale" for next season as well. Fans interested in purchasing two season tickets for the '09-10 season can do so for just $550 and can randomly pick a seat location. Seat locations range from the concourse club seats above sections 108 and 116 to mezzanine end-zone seats. All fans purchasing seats through this promotion will also receive two seats for all remaining IceHogs regular season games for this season.
Seats for the "Spring Cleaning Seat Sale" must be purchased in twos and the packages include all 40 regular season games only plus the option to purchase 2010 Calder Cup Playoff tickets. The deal is good until March 31 and for more information on the promotion, check out the "Spring Cleaning Seat Sale" page at www.icehogs.com/springcleaning. The IceHogs are only offering 50 pairs of tickets for this promotion.
Some new benefits have also been added for IceHogs season ticket holders. The "Never A Wasted Ticket" policy has been reconfigured and all unused tickets in 2009-10 can be turned in for equal or lesser ticket values at the MetroCentre Box Office. All season ticket holders will be invited to IceHogs night with the Rockford Riverhawks on Aug. 15 and an exclusive IceHogs Night at Magic Waters on July 31. All season ticket holders will have an opportunity to meet the team at an exclusive "Season Ticket Pick-Up Party" in the fall.
