
Snappers pound Silver Hawks

Notes: The Snappers slugged 15 hits on their way to a 7-0 win over the Silver Hawks. Oswaldo Sosa pitched seven scoreless innings, striking out seven on his way to earning his fifth win of the season. Beloit broke open a scoreless game with four runs in the bottom of the sixth. The Snappers added a run in the seventh, taking a 5-0 lead. Two more insurance runs in the eighth gave Beloit a 7-0 lead. Danny Vais tossed two scoreless innings in relief of Sosa. Every player in the Snappers starting lineup had at least one hit. Eli Tintor led the way with three hits in four at bats. Tintor also drove in two runs.
Upcoming Schedule: The Snappers and Silver Hawks play game three of this four game series Monday, June 12 at Pohlman Field. First pitch is set for 7:00 pm.
