Beloit Sky Carp News Release
The Beloit Snappers defeated the Battle Creek Yankees 3-0 in the first of two scheduled seven inning games. Carlos Villanueva went the distance for his third win of the season. Terry Trofholz led the offense with his 2 for 3 night at the plate. Beloit scored twice in the first and once in the second.
Game two was cancelled due to rain and will be made up as part of a doubleheader Sunday, May 23. The first game will begin at 1:00 pm.
