
Smokies Announce Doubleheader For May 23

SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. - The Tennessee Smokies, Class AA minor league affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, have announced that the rainout game from April 19 against the Birmingham Barons will be made up as part of a doubleheader against the Barons on Saturday, May 23, at Smokies Park. It will consist of two seven-inning games, with a 30-minute break following the completion of Game 1. First pitch for Game 1 will be 5:00 p.m. Gates will open at 4:00 p.m.
