Smokies/Stars Post-Poned Due to Rain

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Persistent rain all day long on Friday has forced the Smokies and Stars to postpone their second game of five at Joe Davis Stadium until Saturday.
Tennessee (11-9), who holds a 1.5 game lead in the North Division, will play a double-header against Huntsville (10-11) on Saturday. The first of two seven inning contests will begin at 5 p.m. eastern with 30 minutes between games.
The Smokies' Marcos Mateo (0-0) is expected to start game one opposite the Stars' Chris Cody (2-0). Game two will feature Tennessee' Hung-Wen Chen (2-1) against Bobby Bramhall (0-2) for Huntsville.
