SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Sioux Falls Skyforce defeated the Anaheim Arsenal 116-105 Saturday night in front of 4,908 fans at the Sioux Falls Arena in the regular season finale for both teams. Sioux Falls finished the season 25-25 while Anaheim lost their final game in team history to drop to 15-35.
Both teams played with a lot of energy in the first half despite neither team headed for the postseason. Sioux Falls led by only one point at halftime (61-60) but pushed the lead to nine points (90-81) heading into the final quarter.
Anaheim trailed 92-88 in the early stages of the fourth quarter before Sioux Falls went on a 19-4 run to break the game open.
Keith Brumbaugh, Bobby Jones and Charlotte Bobcats assignee Alexis Ajinca led the Skyforce with 19 points each. Ajinca added a season-high 15 rebounds for his third double-double of the season. Kasib Powell (14) and David Bailey (11) also posted double figures after being recognized before the game as two of the 20 greatest players in team history.
Cedric Bozeman had a solid all-around game with 25 points, nine rebounds and five assists while Kedrick Brown finished with 22.
