Thursday's game will be the Sky's second match-up against a Western Conference team this week as well as their second meeting against the Sparks this season. The Sparks have suffered a three-game losing streak over the past two weeks, however, it beat the Sky earlier this season on May 6th. Coming off a win against the Las Vegas Aces, the Sky will look to carry the same energy into Los Angeles. Candace Parker will battle many of her former teammates in this match-up, including the Sparks leading scorer Nneka Ogwumike who averages 17.9 points and 7.8 rebounds per game. The Sparks are ranked 5th in the Western Conference and have a 5-9 record.
