Sugar Land Space Cowboys News Release
The Skeeters lost a tough one 4-2 Wednesday night. Jason Lane struggled early, giving up four runs in the first two innings to put Sugar Land down 4-0. He did eventually settle down, but by that point it was too late for the Skeeters. Michael Ballard was terrific for the Blue Crabs, not allowing a run in his seven innings of work. The Skeeters were able to put up two runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to make it 4-2. Then in the bottom of the ninth they loaded the bases, but they fell just short, losing 4-2.
