
Skeeters to Host Dodgeball Tournament

SUGAR LAND, TX - The Sugar Land Skeeters announced today that the club will host a dodgeball tournament on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Constellation Field. A portion of the event proceeds will benefit the Houston Area Women's Center and the Fort Bend County Women's Center. These centers are dedicated to providing services and resources to survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
The dodgeball tournament will precede the scheduled 6:05 p.m. Skeeters game against the Somerset Patriots. Teams of 6-10 players can register early online at www.sugarlandskeeters.com from June 10 - June 28 and must pay a $350 entry fee at the time of registration. Individual dodgeball players can pay an entry fee of $50 and will be placed on an existing team. Teams that register after June 28 will pay a $450 entry fee.
Upon registering, teams may select to play in either the morning tournament or afternoon tournament. The morning tournament begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 11:30 a.m., while the afternoon tournament starts at 12:00 p.m. and runs until 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
