Skeeters Announce Rescheduled Pink in the Park Date, June 24

SUGAR LAND, TEXAS - The Sugar Land Skeeters will host Pink in the Park, sponsored by Memorial Hermann, on Wednesday, June 24 at Constellation Field. The previously scheduled Pink in the Park was postponed due to rain earlier this season. The night will include a jersey off their back auction, postgame fireworks and breast cancer survivor parade among other activities.

"We are honored to get the opportunity to recognize all of the brave women and men who have fought, are currently fighting or know someone who is battling breast cancer," said Skeeters General Manager Chris Jones. "It's great to see our fans support such a great cause and we, along with Memorial Hermann, are happy we found a date to reschedule the event."

Fans can bid on Pink in the Park, game-worn jerseys, as well as, Skeeters' player's custom-painted bats during the game. After the game, the Skeeters will put on a pink fireworks display for all fans in attendance at Constellation Field.

Proceeds from the auctions will benefit the Memorial Hermann Breast Center. Gates will open at 5:00 PM with first pitch set for 6:05 PM, and fans are encouraged to wear pink in support of those affected by breast cancer.
