
Six-game homestand at Victory Field begins July 4

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Indians begin their sixth homestand of 2006 on Tuesday when Columbus comes to Victory Field for a 6 p.m. contest. The stretch continues through July 9 with three games against the Clippers (July 4-6) and three versus the Toledo Mud Hens (July 7-9).
Tues., July 4 -- Columbus @ 6:00 p.m.
* Fourth of July Celebration -- Celebrate Independence Day with the Indianapolis Indians at Victory Field. Fans will be treated to nine innings of baseball and two post-game fireworks spectaculars.
* VERB Tour -- Fans will receive t-shirts, bracelets, rubber balls and headbands as part of the VERB Tour. The promotion is a national, multicultural, social marketing campaign coordinated by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Wed., July 5 -- Columbus @ 7:00 p.m.
* Firestone Night -- 2-for-1 coupons are available at participating area Firestone locations.

Sat., July 8 -- Toledo @ 7:00 p.m.
* Yogi Bear and Boo Boo Appearance -- Yogi Bear and Boo Boo will be at Victory Field courtesy of Clarian Health Partners and Comcast. Kids won't want to miss this great photo opportunity.
* Team Autograph Night -- Indians players and coaches will sign autographs on the concourse from 5:45-6:30 p.m.
Sun., July 9 -- Toledo @ 2:00 p.m.
* Snow Globe Giveaway -- Celebrate Christmas in July as the first 4,000 fans receive a Victory Field Snow Globe courtesy of Pepsi and Ivy Tech.
* Autographs and Knot Hole Run -- Select players will sign autographs on the concourse from 12:45-1:15 p.m. and members of the Pepsi-Comcast Indians Knot Hole Club are invited to run the bases after the game.
* Hyundai Sunday -- "Hyundai Sunday" will feature an interactive car display in which fans can check out the new Hyundai Sonatas and Tucsons. One lucky fan will win a brand-new Sonata if the Indians hit back-to-back home runs in the fifth inning.
* FOX-59 Day at Victory Field -- Fox-59 personalities will participate in various on-field promotions throughout the afternoon.
