Iowa Wolves News Release

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Sioux Falls Skyforce held off the Iowa Wolves on Saturday night for a 102-97 wire-to-wire win at the Sanford Pentagon.

D.J. Carton scored a game-high 29 points for Iowa (1-6), which lost its sixth-straight game. Wendell Moore Jr. who rejoined the team from Minnesota on Friday scored 18 points, handed out five assists and nabbed four steals.

Orlando Robinson, who earlier today was assigned to Sioux Falls (4-3), posted a double-double with 21 points and game-best 17 rebounds.

The Skyforce started the game on an 11-0 run and led by as many as 22 points in the first game of a back-to-back between the teams.

It took nearly the entire game, but the Wolves fought back to pull within one point twice, including with 2:02 remaining after Phillip Wheeler's dunk. Robinson quickly answered with a layup to push the lead to three. Trevor Keels missed a driving layup for Iowa and Wheeler had to foul, his sixth of the game ending his night. Robinson made one of two free throws, Carton put Iowa within two with a tough layup, but Jamaree Bouyea converted a layup. Sioux Falls iced the game with a steal.

The teams will finish the back-to-back Sunday at 3 p.m. inside the Sanford Pentagon.
