WILMINGTON - The Delaware Blue Coats picked up the win by a score of 106-94 over the College Park Skyhawks on Saturday night.
The Blue Coats held the lead for the majority of the game but any time the Blue Coats went on a run the Skyhawks would go on a run of their own to keep the game close.
In the fourth quarter the Blue Coats went on a run of 17-4 to start the quarter, finally putting the game out of reach. David Duke Jr. and Terquavion Smith led the team in scoring with 27 and 25 points respectively.
[A basketball player dribbling a ball Description automatically generated]Ricky Council IV (20), Melvin Frazier Jr. (16), and Javonte Smart (12), would join Smith and Duke Jr. in scoring double figures against the Skyhawks defense. Leading the way for the Skyhawks was Seth Lundy with 18 points. MiKyle McIntosh (14), Tyson Etienne (11), Keaton Wallace (11), Miles Norris (10) and Chris Silva (10) Contributed double digits as well.
