
Vipers Sweep Oklahoma City with 127-103 Victory

EDINBURG, Texas - The Rio Grande Valley Vipers (4-2), the NBA G League affiliate of the Houston Rockets, obtained a 127-103 victory over the Oklahoma City Blue (4-3) on Saturday night at Bert Ogden Arena.
The first few minutes of the game did not have a clear leader. It was not until there was less than six minutes remaining on the clock that the Vipers took a 19-10 lead. RGV kept the lead until the end of the quarter with a score of 27-22.
In the second quarter the Vipers only allowed the Blue to score 25 points while RGV scored 36 points. At the half RGV led 63-47.
For the remainder of the game RGV continued to extend its lead which earned the team a 127-103 victory over Oklahoma City.
Houston Rockets assignment Cam Whitmore led all scorers with 23 points. Darius Days finished the night with a double-double, 22 points and 11 rebounds. Jarrett Culver contributed 14 points. Houston Rockets Two-Way player Nate Hinton and Jalen Lecque finished with 13 points each. Houston Rockets Two-Way player Nate Williams Jr. added 10 points.
Noah Starkey paved the way for the Blue with 20 points followed by Miller Kopp with 18 points. Caleb McConnell posted a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Jaden Shackelford contributed 17 points while Jahmi'us Ramsey contributed 12 points. Abdul Gaddy also finished the night with a double-double with 11 points and 10 assists.
