
Simpson Signs ATO with Rockford, Hogs Host Rampage Tonight

Rockford, Ill.- After a dramatic shootout victory on Friday night, the Rockford IceHogs return to the BMO Harris Center tonight looking for more points for their playoff push as they take on the San Antonio Rampage at 7:05 p.m.

Rockford is now three points out of the final playoff spot in the Western Conference and is riding a four-game winning streak. In three games with the Rampage, the IceHogs are 2-1-0-0 and are currently four points behind them in the compacted playoff picture.
Each of Rockford's last two wins came via the shootout, the first time since the 2008-09 season in which the Hogs have earned shootout victories in back-to-back games. Since Feb. 24, Rockford is 12-3-0-1 and has nine wins in the month of March tying a team record for most wins in a month.
Including tonight's contest, Rockford has seven games remaining on their regular season slate, including four at the BMO Harris Bank Center. After tonight's game, Rockford will play their next three on the road beginning Sunday in Milwaukee.
Next Home Game: Tuesday, April 10 vs. Charlotte Checkers. Game time is set for 7:05 p.m. The final week of the 2011-12 regular season begins as the IceHogs host the Checkers for the first of two meetings in Week 28. Tuesday's game is this season's final Taco Bell Dollar Days presented by WXRX which includes $1 beers, hot dogs, soft drinks and companion tickets.
