Ducks Recall Defenseman Mat Clark

Syracuse, NY (March 31, 2012) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Anaheim Ducks have recalled defenseman Mat Clark.

Clark, 21, has recorded 12 points (1g, 11a) in 56 games with the Crunch this season. The defenseman played in all 80 games during the 2010-11 Crunch campaign and totaled 16 points (2g, 14a). Clark was the Syracuse Crunch's winner of the 2010-11 IOA/American Specialty AHL Man of the Year award. Clark played 129 games for the Brampton Battalion of the Ontario Hockey League collecting 46 points (10g, 36a) from 2008-2010. The Ducks drafted Clark in the second round, 37th overall, of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.

The Crunch travel to Binghamton for a 7:05 tilt with the Senators on March 31, 2012.
