Hershey Bears Punch Ticket to 2012 Calder Cup Playoffs

HERSHEY, Pa. - Despite a 3-2 setback to the St. John's IceCaps on Saturday night at GIANT Center, the HERSHEY BEARS have clinched a berth in the 2012 Calder Cup Playoffs with help from around the Eastern Conference.
The BEARS were able to advance thanks to the Portland Pirates' overtime loss at Bridgeport coupled with the Adirondack Phantoms' regulation loss at Connecticut. The BEARS' 85 points keeps the club in fifth place in the Eastern Conference.
HERSHEY hosts the Binghamton Senators tomorrow at 5:00 PM.
Individual tickets for the opening round of the 2012 Calder Cup Playoffs will go on sale beginning Tuesday, April 3 at 9:00 am.
