Silvertips to Face Portland in WHL Playoffs

EVERETT - The Everett Silvertips will be the eighth seed in the Western Conference and face the #1 Portland Winterhawks in the opening round of the 2013 Western Hockey League playoffs. After clinching their 10th consecutive playoff berth on Friday, the Silvertips saw their playoff fate decided through Saturday's results and will square off against the Winterhawks for the second time in three years to open the postseason.
