
Silvertips Open 2019-20 Home Schedule on Friday, September 20 vs. the Tri-City Americans at 7:35 p.m.

EVERETT, Wash. - The Everett Silvertips (@WHLSilvertips), two-time Western Conference champions and seven time U.S. Division champions of the Western Hockey League, announced today their 17th season of home games will open Friday, Sept. 20 against the Tri-City Americans, and unveiling their third straight U.S. Division championship banner at Angel of the Winds Arena before puck drop at 7:35 p.m. The home opener will feature a Magnetic Schedule giveaway, presented by Lamoureux Real Estate and Sound Transit, with doors opening at 6:00 p.m.
Priority seating and guaranteed home opener tickets are available now by placing a $50 deposit for Silvertips Season Ticket or Mini-Plan Packages (available in full season, 22-game, of 14-game plans) at www.everettsilvertips.com/season or by calling (425) 252-5100 (extension 1).
The game will be a rematch of last season's first round of the WHL Playoffs, won by the Silvertips, 4-1 in a best-of-seven series to advance to the second round and the WHL's "elite eight" for the fifth consecutive season. The Silvertips went 5-3-0-0 in regular season play last year against the Americans, and are 10-5-2 in the last five seasons at home against Tri-City.
The Silvertips have gone 5-3-1-1 in home openers, dating back for the last ten seasons. Last season, the Silvertips went 24-7-2-1 on home ice, en route to their seventh U.S. Division title, and were tied for fourth in the WHL for most home wins (24).
2019-20 SCHEDULE, TICKET INFORMATION
The complete regular season schedule for the 2019-20 season will be announced on Wednesday and offers full 34-game season tickets, 22-game, and 14-game plans for as little as $215 total per seat. Deposits for $50 will secure a seat for the 2019-20 season, available at www.everettsilvertips.com/season or by calling (425) 252-5100 during normal business hours (Monday through Thursday during the offseason, 9am to 4pm).
