Calgary Hitmen News Release
Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen today announced their 2019-20 regular season home opener will be played on Friday, September 27 against the Edmonton Oil Kings. Game time is 7:00 p.m. at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
The upcoming Western Hockey League campaign is the silver anniversary for the Hitmen, marking 25 seasons since joining the league as an expansion franchise. A special anniversary logo and jersey has been created to celebrate the past, present and future. The team's primary logo will be black and silver, set over the number 25. It also prominently features the organizations 25 seasons in the league, 1995-2020. This 25th anniversary logo will become the featured look and will be front and centre in a number of exciting celebrations throughout the season. Celebration plans and a 25th anniversary jersey unveiling will be held prior to the exhibition season.
The Hitmen Hockey Pass, good for all regular season home games plus the first two playoff dates, is on sale now with individual game tickets, including the home opener, to go on sale in August.
The WHL will release the complete 2019-20 regular season schedule on Wednesday, June 26 at 11:00 A.M. MT.
