Calgary, AB - The Everett Silvertips scored five unanswered goals en route to a 6-3 win over the Calgary Hitmen on Sunday at Scotiabank Saddledome.
Jake Christiansen powered the Everett attack with a pair of markers while Dawson Butt recorded three assists. Bryce Kindopp, Jalen Price, Wyatte Wylie and Martin Fasko-Rudas rounded out the scoring helping Everett extend their winning streak to four games.
Riley Stotts with his 13th and 14th goals of the season, and Egor Zamula with his seventh, replied for Calgary.
The Hitmen outshot the Silvertips 35-26 but Calgary Flames prospect Dustin Wolf made 32 saves to record the win. Jack McNaughton turned aside 20 shots in the loss.
Calgary, 15-9-3-1, will now enjoy a full five day break before taking on the Lethbridge Hurricanes in a home-and-home set beginning Saturday, Dec. 14 in Lethbridge. The rematch goes the following day, Sunday, Dec. 15 at 2:00 p.m. at the 'Dome marking another Sunday Funday presented by Ricky's All Day Grill featuring face painters, concourse activities, giveaways and a post-game family skate that is FREE with a game ticket.
Sunday Funday pricing sees a $9.99 ticket for kids 12 and under and a $15.99 ticket for adults (plus applicable fees and taxes). Sunday also marks the return of Farley's Family Feast. The pre-game meal, held in The Club, runs one hour prior to puck drop and begins at 1:00 p.m.
