Silver Dollar Harley-Davidson to be given away Friday

March 13, 2009 - Central Hockey League (CHL)
Amarillo Gorillas News Release

Amarillo, TX 3/13/09 - When the Amarillo Gorillas take the ice against the Laredo Bucks Friday night, the hard-hitting hockey action will not be the only event taking place at the Amarillo Civic Center.

One lucky fan will have the opportunity to ride off the ice in a 2003 100th Anniversary Edition Harley-Davidson Road King valued at over $40,000. There are 23 fans qualified as finalists for the final drawing to be held Friday night during the Gorillas game. The drawing will be held in a fashion similar to the television show "Deal Or No Deal", in which fans will have the opportunity to either take cash offered to them by Gorillas' Owner Randy Sanders, or continue the drawing for a bike. There is only one stipulation-all of the drawing participants must decide one way or the other before moving forward with the drawing process.

For fans that did not get drawn as a finalist, there is still hope-two finalist tickets have yet to be drawn entering Friday night. This means two fans, if present, have the opportunity to join in on all the excitement should their tickets be drawn!

The game will get under way at 7:05 PM, with Amarillo wearing specialty Harley-Davidson-themed jerseys presented by Tripp's Harley-Davidson in Amarillo. For more information on the promotion, please call (806) 242-PUCK (7825).

The "Silver Dollar Tour" is made possible by the tour sponsors: Tripp's Harley-Davidson, Raptor Graphics, The Big Texan, Cassidy's Polo Club, Electric Baboon Tattoo Parlor, Saturn of Amarillo, Moose's 6th Street Bar & Grill, Hoot's Pub, GranFe Custom Leather, and Amarillo Pawn & Gun.

The AMARILLO GORILLAS are celebrating their seventh season in "The Jungle" by offering special ticket prices to groups and parties! Call the Gorillas ticketing office at (806) 242-PUCK (7825) for more information, or drop by the Gorillas' new office at 901 S. Buchanan in downtown Amarillo.
