
CHL Announces Year-End Award's Release Schedule
March 13, 2009 - Central Hockey League (CHL) News Release
The Central Hockey League (CHL) released today the dates that the year-end award winners, the All-CHL Team and the All-Rookie Team will be announced. The announcements will begin on Monday, March 16th and continue through Monday, March 23rd with the announcement of the CHL's Most Valuable Player.
The MVP Award will be decided between four forwards and one goaltender led by the league's leading scorer Sebastien Thinel (Odessa). Also among the five finalists are Texas' Scott Sheppard, Corpus Christi's Chris Richards, Colorado's Riley Nelson and the goaltender is Mississippi's Kevin Beech.

Monday, March 16th Equipment Manager of the Year Gunner Garrett Athletic Trainer of the Year
Tuesday, March 17th All-CHL Team CHL All-Rookie Team
Wednesday, March 18th Rick Kozuback Award CHL's Man of the Year
Thursday, March 19th CHL's Coach of the Year CHL's Rookie of the Year
Friday, March 20th CHL's Most Outstanding Defenseman CHL's Most Outstanding Goaltender (Scott Brower Award)
Monday, March 23rd Joe Burton Scoring Champion CHL's Most Valuable Player
