
Shut-Out in Hudson Valley Snaps Win Streak

WAPPINGERS FALLS, NY - The Tri-City ValleyCats were shut out by a score of 4-0 at Hudson Valley on Friday night, snapping their four-game win streak.
Offensively, Ramiro Rodriguez, Juan Pineda and Austin Dennis picked up the ValleyCats' only three hits.
'Cats starter Austin Hansen was tagged with the loss, allowing two third-inning runs to score on Chris Betts' double.
Devin Conn went the rest of the way home for the ValleyCats, allowing just two unearned runs in the final five innings of the game.
Now with a record of 37-28, the ValleyCats remain atop the Stedler division standings by four games over the Lowell Spinners.
After their rubber match in Hudson Valley on Saturday night, the ValleyCats will return home for their final regular season homestand of the season on Sunday, August 25, vs. the Aberdeen Ironbirds.
