MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp (6-4, 35-45) fell to the Montgomery Biscuits (5-5, 49-31) by a 2-1 score in 10 innings in the final game of the five-game series at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium on Saturday night.

Montgomery right-handed relief pitcher Phoenix Sanders (3-3) earned the win with two scoreless innings of work. Jacksonville right-handed relief pitcher Tommy Eveld (1-1) took the loss, allowing the game-winning unearned run in the bottom of the tenth.

The Biscuits started the scoring in the bottom of the first on a sacrifice fly by Kevin Padlo to take a 1-0 lead. Jacksonville tied the game at 1-1 with J.C. Millan's sacrifice fly in the top of the fifth. That would be Jacksonville's lone run against Montgomery right-handed starting pitcher Sam McWilliams, as he pitched eight innings allowing a run on six hits with a walk and seven strikeouts.

The Biscuits won the game in the bottom of the 10th inning with an RBI single by David Rodriguez scoring Miles Mastrobuoni from third to end the game 2-1.

Jacksonville left-handed starting pitcher McKenzie Mills worked three and two-third innings where he allowed a run on two hits with a walk and three strikeouts. Josh Roeder and Alex Mateo combined for the next four and a third innings of scoreless relief work, and Eveld turned in a scoreless bottom of the ninth. Jumbo Shrimp second baseman Justin Twine delivered Jacksonville's lone multi-hit game, going 3-for-4.

The Jumbo Shrimp will bus through the night back to Jacksonville, then begin a five-game series with the Chattanooga Lookouts on Sunday at 6:35 p.m. at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville.
