Shorebirds announce "Sierra Mist Fun Zone"

Arriving early to the stadium has now taken on a whole new experience. Your Delmarva Shorebirds new "Sierra Mist Fun Zone" will mystify you! Your 'Birds have teamed up with Pepsi Bottling Ventures of Delmarva and Clear Channel Radio of Salisbury to add some new surprises to one of the most festive pre-game family areas in Minor League Baseball!

Every night, in front of Arthur W. Perdue Stadium, Home of Your Delmarva Shorebirds, the Sierra Mist Fun Zone features live performances, contests, and now two new attractions: "The Sierra Mister" and The "Relay for Life Dunk Tank!"

These two large interactive attractions help "cool down" the Sierra Mist Fun Zone. Plunge one of our special guest dunkers into gallons of cool water in the "Relay For Life Dunk Tank" for just $1! Fans will get two throws to test their dunking skills and claim charity bragging rights because all proceeds from the dunk tank benefit Your Shorebirds "Relay for Life" Team.

The other wet and wonderful attraction is a bit more gargantuan in stature! Easily seen from Route 50 and beyond is the new, "Sierra Mister!" It inflates to over 18 feet in height and 14 feet in width and acts as the new centerpiece-entryway into the stadium. It provides a cooling mist for fans of all ages, thanks to the "larger-than-life" Sierra Mist Cans bursting with wet-n-wild fun. Pepsi Bottling Ventures of Delmarva and Clear Channel Radio make this the coolest place to be this summer!

The Sierra Mist Fun Zone has also been the stage for the Redneck Olympics, free pre-game and post-game giveaways, contests and more! The Fun Zone is always looking for new acts, entertainers, as well as participants that would want to take the plunge inside the dunk tank.
