Shorebirds Announce Roster Transaction for Thursday, May 19

SALISBURY, MD - The Delmarva Shorebirds, in conjunction with the Baltimore Orioles, have announced the following roster moves:

#30 RHP Ryan Meisinger transferred from Aberdeen (SS) to Delmarva (A)

#36 RHP Jesus Liranzo transferred from DSL Orioles (R) to Delmarva (A)

#40 RHP Francisco Jimenez transferred from Delmarva (A) to Aberdeen (SS)

#27 LHP Robert Strader transferred from Delmarva (A) to Aberdeen (SS)

The roster currently has 25 active players (12 pitchers, 13 position players). Meisinger and Liranzo are active and in uniform for tonight's series opener in Lakewood, New Jersey.

Ryan Meisinger has been one of the Shorebirds best relief pitchers this season. He is 3-1 with a 0.59 ERA in nine appearances, including one save. Jesus Liranzo was signed as a free agent by the Orioles on July 10, 2013 and has pitching in the Dominican Summer League in 2013 and 2015. He has never appeared in a game in the South Atlantic League.

The first pitch of tonight's game is scheduled for 6:35 pm at FirstEnergy Park against the Lakewood BlueClaws, Class A Affiliates of the Philadelphia Phillies. The game will be broadcast live on Fox Sports AM 960 and online at theshorebirds.com.
