Spokane, WA: The Spokane Shock announced today that WR Patrick Bugg has been assigned to their 2008 roster.

Bugg, 6'5" 215, was an All-American Tight End at Eastern Kentucky University where he completed his collegiate career in 2006. During his four-year career at Eastern Kentucky, Bugg collected 112 receptions for 1,856 yards and 23 touchdowns. He was rated 34th out of 102 TE's by NFL Draft Scout for the 2007 NFL draft.

"Patrick Bugg's production in college will translate very well to the receiver position. He's a big strong physical receiver that will complement our other receivers very well," Head Coach Adam Shackleford said. "He's a big strong guy who can go across the middle for us and should be great at the goal line."

Bugg is the 34th player on the Shock's 2008 roster. Shackleford will open training camp this Sunday with the first practice of the 2008 season, it will conclude on March 20th with an exhibition game at the Yakima SunDome against the Amarillo Dusters.
