(Moline, Ill.) - Single game tickets for the 2008 Steamwheelers arenafootball2 season go on sale at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 10. Tickets will be available for purchase at the i wireless Center box office, TicketMaster Outlets or on-line at www.ticketmaster.com.
"We are excited to get the season started," said Vice President/General Manager Shawn Brown. "We have really focused our efforts on providing affordable, fan friendly entertainment this season and I think that the product you see both on and off the field is one that the Quad Cities will be proud of and one that the area will want to support."
The Steamwheelers open the season against the 2007 ArenaCup runner-up Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers. The team will retire former âWheelers standout and current offensive coordinator, Shon King's jersey during the pre-game festivities. Additionally, the first 1,000 fans entering the gates will receive a Steamwheelers rally towel courtesy of the Quad City International Airport.
Tickets start as low as $10 for adults and $5 for children. The Steamwheelers are also offering several different group packages for groups of 10 or more that start as low as $6 per ticket and provide incentives for group leaders.
The Steamwheelers want to remind all media, season ticket holders and fans that the start time for all eight regular season home games in 2008 has been changed to 7:00 p.m.
