
Old School Leather Helmets Are Back!

The Green Bay Blizzard is pleased to announce that "Old School" Leather Helmets is back for the 2008 Blizzard season. The Blizzard won the af2's league award for "Best Promotional Item" in 2005 for the leather helmets. The fan favorite promotion will be back for the home opener on Sunday, March 30th, 2008 at U.S. Cellular Field at the Resch Center. The first 1,000 fans 16 and under will receive the Old School Leather Helmet sponsored by Robinson Metal.
The Green Bay Blizzard is looking to start another strong season after reaching the American Conference Championship game in 2007 as well as 2006 when they also advanced to ArenaCup7 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Bob Landsee, as well as the entire coaching staff from 2006 is back for another season in 2008.
The Blizzard home opener on Sunday, March 30th vs. the Spokane Shock at 1:30 PM will feature the "Old School" Leather Helmets as well a post-game fireworks show. Tickets are available through the Ticketstar Box Office located inside the Resch Center or by calling Toll Free 1-800-895-0071. Season Tickets are still available through the Blizzard office and start for as little as $56 for all eight home games.
