SF Bulls Lose in Stockton to Even Season Series

STOCKTON, Calif. - The San Francisco Bulls (4-8-1-1) lost 5-1 to the Stockton Thunder (8-4-0-1), Wednesday at Stockton Arena. Rob Linsmayer scored the lone goal for the Bulls in the loss.

Stockton took the lead, 5:35 into the opening period on James Henry's fourth tally of the season. With 1:48 remaining in the opening frame, Landon Oslanski fired a shot through a screen for a 2-0 Stockton advantage. The Thunder led 18-10 in shots through 20 minutes.

After early chances by the Bulls in the second period, Stockton responded with their third goal at 8:48 by Ryan Constant. Following the tally, Tyler Beskorowany replaced J.P. Anderson in net. The Bulls trailed in shots 27-22 after two periods.

Stockton added to their lead in the third period. Matt Bergland scored at 7:51 and Henry scored his second of the game with 9:56 left in regulation to put Stockton up 5-0. Linsmayer jammed home a rebound with 1:53 left in regulation to deny Brian Foster his shutout bid. Kyle Bigos and Kris Belan earned the assists on Linsmayer's second goal of the season.

The Bulls return home on Friday to take on the Utah Grizzlies for Ghirardelli Chocolate Night. All fans in attendance receive a Ghirardelli chocolate square.
