Sertich Returns From AHL; Five D-Men Added In Last Week

Bakersfield, California - Utah Grizzlies Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Kevin Colley announced today that defenseman Andy Sertich has returned to the team from the AHL's Bridgeport Sound Tigers. He will join the Grizzlies in Bakersfield tonight as they go for their third-straight win at 8 p.m.

The Grizzlies are proud to be the ECHL affiliate of the NHL's New York Islanders and their AHL affiliate in Bridgeport.

Sertich left the Grizzlies on March 3 with 10 goals and 22 assists for 32 points in 55 games. He was ninth among ECHL defensemen in scoring and led ECHL blueliners with 157 shots at the time of his promotion.

In the last week, the Grizzlies have also added defenseman Jordan Hart back from Bridgeport; while also acquiring three d-men via trade in six-foot-two Brett Beauchamp along with Chris Clark and Chris Brooks, both who stand at six-foot-three.

Utah returns home Tuesday to host Phoenix at 7:05 p.m. at the E-Center.
