
Series Opener for Stones, Pandas Postponed to Thursday

COLUMBUS, GA., - The Rocket City Trash Pandas entered Tuesday as the final Southern League team to see Synovus Park this season. They will have to wait one more day to be the final Southern League team to play on it after inclement weather and poor field conditions caused the postponement of the series opener on Tuesday night. The game will be made up on Thursday as part of a doubleheader beginning at 5:35 p.m. ET.
Next Game (Wednesday, August 6): Columbus vs. Rocket City, 7:05 pm ET at Synovus Park. LHP Jose Suarez (0-0, -.--) will make his Columbus debut opposed by LHP Mitch Farris (1-7, 4.97 ERA) for Rocket City. Radio Broadcast: 6:50 pm ET on Sports Visions 92.1 FM.
