Harrisburg, PA - This is your weekly informational email about the coming week for the Senators. Friday, August 8 - Sertoma Baseball Camp - 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Senators Players will help hold a baseball camp for hard of hearing children in Camp Hill. Saturday, August 9 - Epilepsy Foundation Fun Run/Walk - 9:00 a.m. Senators Players, Rascal, Grrrounder & General Manager Randy Whitaker will be on City Island at the 6th Annual Family Fun Run/Walk for the Epilepsy Foundation of Western & Central Pennsylvania. Upcoming events that benefit the Community: Saturday, August 9 - Epilepsy Foundation Fun Run/Walk - 8:30 a.m. The Harrisburg Senators are the main event sponsor for the 6th Annual Family Fun Run/Walk on City Island. The event is held to support the Epilepsy Foundation of Western & Central Pennsylvania. General Manager Randy Whitaker is a co-chair of the event, and Senators players will be available for autographs at the race. Registration begins at 8:30 A.M. For more information go to www.efwp.org. Sunday, August 24 Erase Hunger at the Harrisburg Senators Game The Harrisburg Senators will be giving away Equipment Bags to the first 1,000 Fans that bring at least two nonperishable food items to be donated to a local food bank. Donations in the past week: The Senators have made over 500 donations since October. The Senators are continuing to reach out to local organizations and have donated tickets or merchandise to the following groups in the past week: Broadway for Brian, Harrisburg Parks & Recreation, Susquehanna Yacht Club, Philhaven, New Life Community Development, PA Vent Camp, Iowa Cubs, Johnstown X-treme Fastpitch Softball Team & Sertoma Baseball Camp.
