Harrisburg, PA - The Harrisburg Senators missed on key offensive opportunities in a 4-3 loss to the Altoona Curve in 10 innings, Sunday at Blair County Ballpark. Brad Corley hit a bases-loaded, walk-off single in the 10th to win it for Altoona.

The Curve plated a run early. In the bottom of the 1st, Melvin Dorta hit a leadoff single and stole second. Anthony Webster ripped a one-out RBI double to make it 1-0. RHP Jordan Zimmermann limited the damage as he struck out the next two batters to end the inning. He didn't allow another hit until the 6th inning.

The Senators tied the game in the top of the 4th. Bill Rhinehart drew a leadoff walk and two batters later, Marvin Lowrance drilled a double to put runners at second and third with one out. Devin Ivany hit an RBI groundout to knot the score at 1-1.

Harrisburg had chances in the 5th and 6th innings, but couldn't come through with a run until the 7th. With two on and two out, Ofilio Castro singled up the middle to plate the go-ahead run and give the Senators a 2-1 lead.

Altoona took the lead in the bottom of the 7th. With runners at first and second and two out, pinch hitter Jason Bowers singled to right and one run scored easily. When the right-fielder held onto the ball too long, Angel Gonzalez raced all the way around from first to score and give the Curve a 3-2 advantage.

The Senators came back with a run of their own in the top of the 8th. Matt Rogelstad drilled a double off the base of the wall in center to plate Ivany and tie the game at 3-3.

Harrisburg squandered a golden opportunity in the 10th, putting runners at first and second with two out, but could not come through with the big hit.

Altoona won it in the bottom of the 10th. Miguel Perez led off with a single and moved to second on a sacrifice bunt by Dorta. James Boone and Webster drew walks off LHP Tim Bittner to load the bases. After RHP Adam Carr entered from the bullpen, Corley followed with a walk-off hit to win it for Altoona.

Bittner took the loss to fall to 1-3. LHP Dave Davidson notched the win to go to 3-2 for the Curve.

The Senators dipped to 56-43 and split the four-game series in Altoona. The Curve advanced to 43-55.
