The Harrisburg Senators rallied from an early 4-0 deficit to beat the Altoona Curve 6-5 on Thursday night at FNB Field. James Wood hit a tie breaking solo home run in the eighth inning to give the Senators the lead. Harrisburg tied the game with a double steal of second and home. Altoona scored two in the first and two in the third for their 4-0 lead.

The Big Play

In the eighth inning, James Wood hit a 2-1 pitch over the right field ribbon board to give the Senators a 6-5 lead.

On Capitol Hill

Dustin Saenz started and went 5.2 innings allowing five runs on nine hits. He struck out five and walked one and allowed two home runs... Reid Schaller was perfect in his 1.1 innings of work... Evan Lee walked a batter then left after throwing a pitch... Jack Sinclair finished the game, tossing two scoreless innings and earning the win.

With the Gavel

James Wood homered and singled... Trey Lipscomb homered, singled, and scored twice... Terone Harris III went 2-for-4.

Filibusters

Harrisburg went 1-for-5 with runners in scoring position... Robert Hassell III and Jacob Young both had outfield assists... Brady Lindsly caught a runner trying to steal third base... The time of the game was 2:19.
