Peoria Chiefs News Release

PEORIA, IL - Tickets for Ted Lilly's Monday rehab start are Half-Price and currently on sale online 24 hours a day, by calling 1-866-MYTICKET and at the O'Brien Field Box Office which will open at 10:00 am on Monday. Lilly, a 2009 National League All-Star, rehabbed with the Chiefs last August and he is scheduled to start and pitch four-to-five innings. Club Box Seats are $5.00 for Monday's 6:30 p.m. start and Lawn Seats are $3.50.

Lilly started for Triple-A Iowa on Wednesday night in a rehab start against the Memphis Redbirds. In that outing he allowed one run on one hit over four innings while striking out four. The only hit he allowed was a solo homer in the top of the first to former St. Louis Cardinals infielder Tyler Greene.

Due to the Major League rehab, the Never-A-Wasted ticket policy is suspended for Monday's game but all tickets are Half-Price as part of the season-long Half-Price Monday deal at O'Brien Field. Club Box Seats are $5.00 for Monday's 6:30 p.m. start and Lawn Seats are $3.50.

Lilly will be the first player to rehab with the Chiefs this season. Last year Chiefs fans saw Lilly, Reed Johnson, Aramis Ramirez and Carlos Zambrano at O'Brien Field while Angel Guzman pitched for the Chiefs in Kane County on June 30. Past Cubs rehabs have included Kerry Wood, Nomar Garciaparra, Mark Prior, Henry Blanco, Scott Williamson, Scott Eyre, Jon Lieber and Wade Miller.
