Toronto FC News Release
Toronto FC forward Sebastian Giovinco was selected by MLS All-Star Head Coach Pablo Mastroeni to participate in the 2015 AT&T MLS All-Star Game. He joins teammate Michael Bradley who was voted into the MLS Fan XI on Monday, July 13. The MLS All-Stars will meet English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday, July 29 at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in the Denver suburb of Commerce City, Colorado. Kick-off is set for 9:00 p.m. ET and will air live on FOX Sports 1, UniMás, and TSN and RDS in Canada.
Giovinco is currently in his first season with Toronto FC after the club signed the Italian international as a Designated Player on January 19, 2015. He has registered 13 goals and 10 assists in all competitions (12 MLS goals, nine MLS assists and one Amway Canadian Championship goal and assist) for Toronto FC this season. On July 12 against New York City FC, Giovinco scored a first-half hat trick within a nine-minute span, which ties for the third fastest in MLS history.
